Over the first five days of December, FDOH reported Escambia County had 10 COVID deaths, only two associated with nursing homes. Of the 7,558 tests results reported, 8.48% were positive – 641 new cases from Dec. 1-5.
The number of test reported (7,558) is up considerably when compared to the first five days of any other month of 2020:

June 1-5: 1,786
