Escambia High football coaches arrested

Escambia High assistant coach Timothy Andrew Jansky has been arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and harassing in a misdemeanor proceeding. According to the report, Jansky told the victim who had been struck by a teammate on Sept. 13 that he wouldn’t be allowed to play football if he pressed charges. Jansky said that he did so at the “repeated request” of head coach Scott Anderson. Anderson admitted to saying in coaches’ meetings that the victim would not play football if he pressed charges, but denied advising Jansky to tell the student that information.
