Through Saturday, 255,808 people had received COVID-19 vaccinations in Florida, according to the Florida Department of Health. Â Escambia County is in the top 20 for COVID cases among Florida residents but didn’t make the top 20 for vaccinations.
Escambia County had 20,699 cases among Florida residents through Saturday – more than Alachua, Seminole, Lake, St. Johns and Leon counties.
