Escambia School District enrollment down

The enrollment in the Escambia County School District is down 318 students since the 2017-18 school year, according to the Florida Department of Education. The district has lost nearly 500 white students.

A decade ago, the district had 40,921 students. Fifteen years ago, the enrollment was 43,683.
