Pensacola, FL: Escambia County School Superintendent Malcolm Thomas has announced that school will be in session for a half-day Early Release schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in order to allow families and staff ample time to prepare for the possible impact of Hurricane Michael. Schools will also be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 10. All extracurricular activities have been canceled as well for both dates.
