Even Kevin White gets it

fallingECUA approve the Dale Perkins 5 Point 3 Point Plan yesterday, 3-2. Perkins, McCovery & Walker voted for Fort Perkins. Benson and Fink voted “No.”

In the PNJ (), Esc. Co. commissioner Kevin White is quoted: “I have a hard time explaining to people with septic tanks why they should pay for a new sewer plant.”

Right on, Kevin. That’s is exactly the point. The people who use the facility should pay for it – especially when it can be done with minimal rate increases over the life of the plant.

Why should ECUA be given a plant for free?
