The synthetic marijuana that we reported about and the federal authorities banned months ago is back, being sold legally in a different form in shops and on the Internet.
The Sun-Sentinel reports manufacturers have changed the chemical compounds just enough to skirt the ban by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and a new state law. Its sold as incense or potpourri, but law enforcement officials say people know what it’s really for: smoking to get high.
As before, the packaging is labeled “Not for human comsumption” but that means nothing for the fake potheads.
