Last fall, I had lunch with Peter Beinart at the Acme Oyster Bar in New Orleans. He is one of the brightest young journalists on the national scene. Peter is associate professor of journalism and political science at City University of New York and a senior fellow at the New America Foundation. His latest book is The Icarus Syndrome: A History of American Hubris.
