The Mobile Press Register reports the Lam Luong, the man who was confessed to throwing his four young children from the highest point of Dauphin Island bridge early Monday, had recently become a desperate crack addict given to bouts of violent anger, according to family members.
“As a normal person, he was decent to his wife and kids,” said Lam Phengsisomboun, Luong’s brother-in-law. “But he changed. He hit the kids all the time. I could see him getting fed up and throwing the kids off a bridge.”
