FavorHouse 2012 White Rose Luncheon on May 17th

(Press Release) FavorHouse is pleased to announce that nationally-recognized author and speaker Leslie Morgan Steiner will present the keynote address at the 2012 White Rose Luncheon on May 17^th.  Ms. Steiner, a survivor of domestic violence, is well-known for her work on the best-selling anthology Mommy Wars, as well as for her memoir Crazy Love.  She has been a guest on The Today Show, ABC, NBC, CBS, and other television networks, and she has been profiled by, among others, Newsweek, Glamour, and The New York Times. 

  FavorHouse of Northwest Florida is a not-for-profit organization providing shelter and services to domestic violence victims (women, children and men) and counseling to batterers in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. In 2005, FavorHouse established the White Rose Luncheon as its annual signature event to honor survivors of domestic violence and to highlight the courage these victims displayed in breaking away from a life of pain and horror.

 The 2012 Luncheon will take place on May 17^th at the Sanders Beach Community Center in Pensacola.  FavorHouse is currently seeking sponsors to make this  celebration of courage and survivorship possible. All proceeds from the White Rose Luncheon will be used to support our domestic violence shelter program and counseling services.  Your support will help victims who are ready to seek the help that will save and change their lives.
