FDOT to Hold Public Meeting Regarding Pensacola Bay Bridge, June 10

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public hearing concerning the replacement of the Pensacola Bay Bridge on Tuesday, June 10, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Grand Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, 200 East Gregory Street. The hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m. followed by a formal presentation at 6 p.m.

The hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design and social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.

The study involves the replacement of the Pensacola Bay Bridge located at State Road U.S. 98 (S.R. 30) from 17th Avenue in Pensacola to Baybridge Drive in Gulf Breeze. Project documents are available for review until June 23, 2014 at the following locations:
