This Labor Day weekend, Widespread Panic will be partnering with Feeding the Gulf Coast at the Pensacola Bay Center to collect food and fund donations to help those in need in our community. The food drive is part of the band’s Feeding People Through Music initiative.
In 2016, Widespread Panic hosted a food drive benefiting Feeding the Gulf Coast at their two shows at the Saenger. The food drive provided nearly 700 meals to those struggling with hunger in the Florida panhandle.
Show attendees are asked to bring donations both nights the band will be performing, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Feeding the Gulf Coast representatives will be present at the entrance with donation bins. Help get Feeding the Gulf Coast’s shelves stocked for the holidays by donating these items:
â— Cranberry Sauce
â— Stuffing
â— Gravy
â— Instant Potatoes
â— Cream of Mushroom Soup
