Ferry service reopens tomorrow…and they mean it this time

The Pensacola Bay Cruises Ferry Service is set to reopen Wednesday, May 19 with daily service, seven days a week, between Downtown Pensacola and Pensacola Beach. Ferry trips last approximately 50 minutes, and all-day free parking is available at each of the departure sites.

“On behalf of the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, we are extremely thankful for Coast Guard Sector 8 in Mobile for their assistance in relaying the need for an expediated federal approval,” said Chairman and District 4 County Commissioner Robert Bender.

Mayor Grover Robinson said,”We are grateful to all of our partners who made this happen, and I hope everyone will take advantage of this service to help reduce traffic while also getting to enjoy the beautiful views of Pensacola Bay.”
