Few more facts about Sansom’s college job

The St. Petersburg Times has been reporting more details on House Speaker Ray Sansom’s new job at Northwest Florida State College.

Sansom will be paid $110,000 — nearly $25,000 more than his predecessor.

The vice president position at the college was never advertised and only offered to Sansom.

Sansom’s hiring was a last minute item for the board of trustees meeting. In fact it was not even on the agenda. President Bob Richburg gave it to the board at the meeting.
