Fiesta Forces Volunteer Organization is Recruiting New Members

Anyone interested in volunteering to support Fiesta of Five Flags is welcome to join the Fiesta of Five Flags at the upcoming Fiesta Forces spring happy hour. The new member sign-up party is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at Phineas Phoggs, 130 E. Government St.

At the event you can socialize with other Forces members and sign up to work the shifts of your choice at the Pensacola Crawfish Festival and Fiesta Celebration. The admission for the happy hour is free for paid 2012 Fiesta members. New members pay their initial dues of $35, which includes a Fiesta Forces t-shirt, name-tag and beverages at all events. Returning members pay $25 and guest admission is $10.

Membership is open to individuals 21 and older. Fiesta Forces members are the driving force behind Fiesta of Five Flags, which hosts more than 20 events per year.  These events include: Pensacola Crawfish Festival presented by Coastal Bank and Trust, Fiesta Children’s Treasure Hunt, Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest, Fiesta Boat Parade, DeLuna Landing Ceremony, Fiesta All Krewe Ball, Pen Air Federal Credit Union Fiesta Day Parade, and the Pensacola Seafood Festival.
