Kenny Chesney’s promoters told his fans that his August 23 concert at the Flora-Bama on Perdido Key would be his only concert this year. He did another six days later.
CMT reports Kenny Chesney and his band set up shop Friday night in Athens, Georgia, to play a pop-up concert in front of 500 fans at the Georgia Theatre. The show lasted more than two hours and was taped for the first installment of CMT’s new Instant Jam series and will premiere Sept. 27.
