Florida in Top 10 states for most football parties, North Carolina edges Colorado for Super Bowl

Super Bowl 50 is expected to be the most watched sporting event of the year, and Evite, the leading digital service for planning events, has a new indicator on which team has the edge. The company yesterday released new data on the U.S. states with the most football-themed parties planned, and fans in Colorado and North Carolina are currently neck and neck.

The Carolina Panthers currently hold a narrow lead over the Denver Broncos as of 11 a.m. today–with 1,402 parties planned in North Carolina and 1,376 parties planned in Colorado. These numbers are expected to rise rapidly over the next few days as last-minute gatherings are planned, which could change the outcome. Evite’s data on Super Bowl parties for these two states is being updated daily leading up to Game Day on Sunday, Feb. 7 and posted at http://www.evite.com/c/football-faceoff-2016.
