The EscaRosa Coalition on the Homeless reports the Florida Department of Highway Safety has a mobile unit which will be in our area to issue ‘on the spot’ FL ID Cards to the homeless. If you have a homeless client that is in need of an official ID, please have him/her go to the Waterfront Rescue Mission located at 348 Herman Street on Feb 25. The mobile unit will be there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The consumer will have to have a birth certificate and Social Security card.
