Florida has 9,585 new COVID cases today. Â Escambia County had 52 cases – which would have been a record last week, but not any more. Of the county’s new cases, only one was out-of-state and 28 were associated with nursing homes, but the median age was report as 27 for June 26.
DOH adjusted the June 25 figures to 160 positives out of 1,010 test results – positivity rate 15.8%. The June 26 stats are 51 local positives out of 356 results – positivity rate 14.3%.
Statewide positivity rate for June 26 – 14.36%.
The ICU availability for Escambia County is 15 beds – 12.71%.
