La Costa Latina Newspaper is collecting food at Hispanic Resource Center at 5465 N. Pensacola Blvd. (between Brent and Airport—Across from Taco Rock) for Appetite for Life to replace the food supplies that were lost in yesterday’s fire.
Drivers can drive up to the office building between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. where volunteers can receive food donations. We hope that residents will make the pit stop on their way to work, lunch or home.
Appetite for Life is a non-profit organization that provides free nutritious meals to terminally ill patience and elderly.
Volunteers for the drive are welcome and needed!.
