The Pensacola Area Coffee Party and the League of Women Voters of the Pensacola Bay Area present a Public Forum: “The Impact of a Living Minimum Wage:”

The Pensacola Coffee Party and the League of Women Voters invite the public. The economic and social impacts of raising the minimum wage to an actual living wage will be examined by a panel including: Dr. Rick Harper, Executive Director of the NW Florida Office of Economic Development and Engagement; Dr. Rich Templin, Legislative Director of the Florida AFL-CIO; Mr. Rick Outzen, Publisher of the Independent News; and Ms. Robin Reshard, Writer and Speaker.

Join them to examine together these important questions: What are the impacts of raising wages on the social and economic lives of residents and businesses? What is the true influence of a living minimum wage on the economy? Does a living minimum wage only hurt businesses or are there benefits also?
