The Gulf Coast Economics Club is proud to announce our Wednesday Feb. 19, 2014 program: Mr Dave Robau, founder and CEO of National Energy USA.
Mr. Robau is founder and CEO of National Energy USA, an industry leader in the field of advanced energy technologies.
Mr. Robau lectures widely on issues of energy, sustainability, and energy security at a number of international conferences in the United States and the Caribbean. His research is focused on sustainable energy, alternative fuels, and advanced waste-to-energy. His work often appears in publications such as the New York Times and the Washington Post.
Mr. Robau served as an Environmental Scientist with the U.S. Air Force in the Civil Engineering Directorate at Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field, FL. He has held positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and in the private-sector.
He also works closely with the various National Laboratories of the Departments of Energy and Defense to develops innovative solutions that help sustain the military mission.
Mr. Robau serves as the founder and Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Energy Network. He leads a Network of over 7,700 scientist, engineers, architects, planners, and elected officials from the various Gulf Coast states to expand the renewable energy market, while promoting resource conservation and sustainable design and construction concepts.
He also serves on the Executive Steering Committee as Co-Chair for the Power Up Energy Conference & Expo. Each spring, Power Up gathers hundreds of energy and sustainability professionals from around the world for a 3-day conference along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Mr. Robau is a proud graduate of the University of West Florida.
