Four Winds Fine Foods reopens in August

Four Winds Fine Foods has been an iconic Pensacola staple for over 40 years. Since 1981, the market has proudly served the Escambia County community with international fare at its 6895 N. Ninth Ave., Suite F, home. We are thrilled to announce our upcoming relaunch! Temporarily closed for renovations now, Four Winds plans to reopen in late August and will host a grand reopening celebration in October, unveiling a revitalized shopping and dining experience.

Local entrepreneurs Carl Spear and Katie Gilbert-Spear, longtime dedicated customers of Four Winds, decided to purchase the business when the former owner retired in 2020. Their love for Four Winds and its unique offerings inspired them to keep it going and continue serving the community.

Now it’s time for the decades-old market to refresh and recharge.

“While we are excited to introduce new enhancements and offerings, we want to assure our customers that all their beloved favorites and mainstays – like our turkey salad, Tabbouli, gyro, wide selection of meats and cheeses, and all the homemade dips – will remain unchanged,” said Katie Gilbert-Spear. “And the bountiful samples that we’ve always been known for, those aren’t going anywhere.”

What to Expect at the Grand Reopening:

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our loyal customers,” furthered Carl Spear. “This temporary closure allows us to make some much-needed and exciting updates that will elevate the international food experience we offer.”
