
The Fred Levin Way Foundation will host the Fourth Annual Fred Levin Way Fest on Sunday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Historic Downtown Pensacola, near Palafox and Government Street. This free community event celebrates the generosity of giving to families and individuals in need. At the Festival, attendees can explore the free services of 65 nonprofits and receive numerous essential items.
What to Expect
The Fred Levin Way Fest is an annual festival that promotes the free services of Northwest Florida nonprofits in an exciting environment of family activities, including:
• Giveaways & Prizes
• Kids’ activities (such as games, face painting, portraits, ice cream, popcorn, and cotton candy)
• Food from local food trucks — American, Asian, BBQ, German, Greek, Mexican, Pizza, and Soul
• DJ Albert Lao playing the music that adults and kids love
• Live performance from Jordan Chase (American Idol and The Voice)
• Free admission to the UWF downtown museums and to the downtown YMCA for swimming & basketball
• Mounted and K-9 units for attendees to touch and interact
• And much more
Community Nonprofits Providing Free Essential Items
Most importantly, the Festival will highlight the free services of 65 local nonprofits assisting Northwest Florida families and individuals in need. These nonprofits will provide information to the attendees explaining their free services. The nonprofits will also distribute, at no cost, essential items to the attendees, such as backpacks, blankets, books, diapers, first aid kits, hygiene kits, pet food, school supplies, soap, socks, thermometers, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and underwear.
