Press Release:
Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford today reminded voters that all mail ballots for the City of Pensacola Charter Referendum must be returned to the Elections Office no later than 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24th. Voters who have not yet mailed their ballot should deliver it directly to the Elections Office at 213 Palafox Place, 2nd floor.
Any voter in the City of Pensacola who has not yet received a ballot or who needs a replacement ballot (if ballot was destroyed, spoiled, lost, or not received) should come directly to the Elections Office to be issued a ballot.
In order for a ballot to be counted, it must be returned sealed inside a signed mail ballot certificate return envelope by 7:00 pm on Election Day. The signature on the mail ballot certificate envelope is compared to the voter’s signature on file in the Elections Office for verification purposes.
Election results will be released after 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening. To date, more than 12,800 ballots have been returned to the Elections Office.
