Frying Bacon

Former students have created a satirical newspaper that lampoons the strict rules of a Christian college in Palm Beach. The alternative newspaper at Palm Beach Atlantic University is called “The Bacon,” which plays on the name The Beacon — the traditional student paper.

One Bacon headline from last year reads, ”Student promises not to be gay by Friday,” in response to a school policy banning homosexuality.

The paper had a website: www.thebacon.org.
