Gaetz Campaign Releases New Ad – ‘Veterans’

Yesterday, the Matt Gaetz campaign released its next 30-second commercial, entitled “Veterans.”

The ad features four veterans from the First Congressional District:

Col. Howard Hill, USAF, Retired – former POW who was imprisoned and tortured at the Hanoi Hilton
Col. Ron Webb, USAF, Retired – former POW who was imprisoned and tortured at the Hanoi Hilton
Msgt. Joe Deslauriers, USAF, Retired – seriously wounded by an IED in Afghanistan
Capt. Nathan Nelson, USAF, Retired – seriously wounded by a rocket blast in Afghanistan

“The First Congressional District is home to some of our nation’s most important military installations and thousands of brave men and women who serve and who have served in uniform,” said Matt Gaetz. “There is no higher honor than having the support of true American heroes like Col. Howard Hill, Col. Ron Webb, Mgst. Joe Deslauriers, and Capt. Nathan Nelson, and many other veterans here in Northwest Florida,” Gaetz continued.

“In the Florida House, I fought to make Florida the most veteran friendly state in the nation through initiatives like the Florida G.I. Bill, funding for homes and rehabilitative services for wounded warfighters, and the protection of our military personnel’s personal information from terror groups like ISIS. In Congress, I will fight every day to keep our military strong and care for our veterans, who sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms,” Gaetz said.
