Featuring More Than 50 Local Fine Artists.
PENSACOLA, FLORIDA –On Friday, August 19, from 5 p.m.-9 p.m., Gallery Night Pensacola’s theme is “Under the Surface.” Gallery Night’s August event will highlight the art of water, salt, and coastal living!
Gallery Night’s August Featured Artist is Sarah Soule Webb. Sarah Soule Webb’s love and longing for the waters on which she grew up are evident in her large-scale coastal-inspired ‘photo-surrealistic’ paintings. This lifetime artist and Pensacola native captures light dancing on water or reflecting on the floor below, evoking a dreamlike experience and reminding one of our connection to this earth we’ve been given. Sarah also created a niche in her underwater portraits of children. Her colorful, quirky portraits adorn homes around the globe.
“I am incredibly honored to be the featured artist for August’s Gallery night! I moved home to Pensacola in 2020 and have felt so loved and embraced by the people and the water that called me back. I’ve been painting water for over 15 years and it still enthralls me more than ever. I feel continually inspired by the beauty of my hometown and am so proud of where Pensacola is now.” Soule Webb said.
Soule Webb is partnering with Pathways for Change, a nonprofit committed to eliminating homelessness. 10% of the night’s sales will be donated to Pathways for Change.
