Temple Grandin, Ph.D., is considered a leading authority on autism and sensory processing disorders. She is the author of numerous books on the subject and is a sought after speaker. Her latest book is entitled “The Autistic Brain: Thinking Across the Spectrum.â€
Anita Lesko (2013 IN Game Changer) was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of 50. Since that time, she has been on a crusade to educate others. Lesko is the author of the book “Asperger’s Syndrome: When Life Hands You Lemons Make Lemonade.†Recently, she was one of the organizers and speakers at the Flying High with Autism conference in Pensacola, Florida. The conference attracted such noted personalities as Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Stephen Shore and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
