Gannett cuts more corners in Arizona

I ran across this article by the Phoenix New Times – another alt-weekly. The Gannett-owned Arizona Republic started publishing a smaller, abbreviated Monday newspaper paper which folded more sections into the first one, like local and business news. What’s worse is the publisher and editors tried to act like the readers requested it.

Could it happen here? You bet, but would anybody really care?
