The parent company of the Pensacola News Journal reports its non-broadcast revenue dropped to $300 million, compared with $361 million in August 2007, was only slightly higher than the 16.3% decrease in June and 16.7% in July. Of course, the revenue was still $300 million for August, so I wouldn’t panic.
Classified revenues were 28.0 percent lower in August. Real estate revenues were down 40.9 percent, employment revenues were 33.6 percent lower and automotive revenues declined 21.1 percent.
