GROWING FRUIT TREES with SRC Extension agent Josh Criss
Citrus, figs, blueberries, pears, pomegranates—& more! Adding fruit-producing trees & shrubs gives us the bonus of a beautiful landscape & fresh fruit! Josh will explain which fruit trees will grow & thrive in our area and how to landscape, plant, & care for them.

GARDENING WITH HERBS with Emily Peterson
Herbs can add interest to any landscape by adding texture, fragrance, & taste. Adding to their usefulness as culinary & medicinal plants, herbs can be host plants for butterflies or act as repellants to other insects. Most herbs like our sandy soils & are easily grown in the ground or thrive in containers. Join us to learn about these fascinating plants & how to incorporate them into your landscape.

Plant Sale
Local herb & vegetable growers, Hyacinth Gardens, will be on hand selling unique varieties of plants in addition to herbal products & pet treats. We are excited that they can join us for this event!
