A Letter from Our Board of Directors:
Change in Leadership at GCAACC
Dear Member:
As many of you may know by now, after nearly 2.5 years of professional leadership, Nicole Dixon decided to move her career in another direction and has resigned her position as the Executive Director. This letter is to assure you the Gulf Coast African American Chamber of Commerce (GCAACC) will run smoothly as we transition and look to hire a new Executive Director. In the meantime, the GCAACC Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Angelena Wheat has been voted as the Interim Executive Director.
Angelena is very acquainted with the day-to-day operations, goals and mission of the GCAACC. She has displayed professionalism while serving as the Membership Services Coordinator and has been very instrumental in securing corporate and local sponsorships for the GCAACC. Her resume includes over 30 years of experience and extensive background working with the Gulf Coast community.
I trust you will join the GCAACC Board in wishing Nicole the best of luck and in welcoming Angelena to our organization in her new role.
Sincerely,
Jessie Gaither
