The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation is hosting an exclusive event on Thursday, June 13, to experience and explore America’s history at NAS Pensacola and one of Florida’s leading museums, the National Naval Aviation Museum.
The Florida Trust’s Laura Griffi said, “We’re excited about the exclusive nature of what we’re doing and hoping that that will appeal to folks that they get to come with us on a trip down memory lane and have that exclusive access”
The event will include:
- an architecture/history bus tour of the NAS Pensacola base,
- after-hours private tour of the National Naval Aviation Museum and
- attendees will experience the World War II F4U Corsair fighter-bomber salvaged from Lake Michigan currently being restored.
- Reception in Blue Angels Atrium.
