Good Jobs after Hurricane Ivan

I’ve heard a lot of talk about what a great job County Administrator George Touart did after Hurricane Ivan. However I can’t think of any local county administrator or city manager who did a poor job after that 2004 disaster.

Gulf Breeze City Manager Buzz Eddy and his staff had Gulf Breeze up on its feet in days. Pensacola City Manager Tom Bonfield also worked long hours to clean up Pensacola. In Santa Rosa County, there were few complaints about County Manager Hunter Walker – although there was a little disorganization in the first few days after the storm.

My point is there is no evidence or facts that Touart did any more or less than what others did and achieved after Hurricane Ivan. All our governmental leaders did good jobs.
