Mayor Ashton Hayward announced on Friday that post-security food and beverage concessions at Pensacola International Airport are expected to open this week.

In his newsletter, the mayor said, “The new concessions area is bright, attractive, and features Einstein’s Bagels, Pensacola Beach House, and Freshens. The post-security Pensacola Beach House will feature a full kitchen managed by Michael Isabella, a Washington, D.C.-based chef who competed on the sixth season of ‘Top Chef’ and later on ‘Top Chef All-Stars’ and ‘Top Chef: Duels’.”

He added that construction on the planned Chick-fil-A location is expected to open within 90 days.
