Gov. Ron DeSantis has scheduled the special election and primary to replace former state Rep. Joel Rudman, who is running for Matt Gaetz’s congressional seat. The special primary elections will be on April 1 and, if necessary, the special election on June 10 in House District 3, according to documents posted on the state Division of Elections website.
Rudman could run for his House seat again if he loses the District 1 GOP primary next Tuesday.
