Grand Hotel holding job fair this month, 134 job openings

The Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Pt. Clear, Ala. is hosting a job fair Feb. 12 & 13.

“Since opening in 1847, the Grand Hotel has been a key social and recreational hub along the Eastern Shore. Nearly 40 current associates have worked at the Grand Hotel for more than 25 years and the resort is looking for the next generation of associates to continue the resort’s legendary Southern Hospitality,” said Bill Lang of RTJ & Resort Collection.

There are currently 134 open positions, including 63 full-time, 16 part-time and 55 seasonal (April to October). The seasonal openings range from 6 week to 6 months opportunities. Baldwin and Mobile County residents are encouraged to apply.

The jobs include cooks, housekeeping, dishwashers, recreation, banquets, kitchen, servers, room service, loss prevention, catering, bartenders, grounds, management and other opportunities.

The job fair is on Friday, Feb. 12 from 1 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the resort – 17855 Scenic Hwy 98 in Fairhope, Ala. Parking is available across the street from the resort on Scenic 98 in Point Clear.
