Grand Opening of Warrington Precinct

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office will hold grand opening ceremonies for the new W. E. Grimsley Building, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office South Headquarters, Warrington Precinct, 30 North Navy Blvd. on Wednesday, August 8. Refreshments will be served from twelve to two and the ribbon cutting will commence at 1:00 p.m.

“We thank the County Administrator, Mr. Randy Oliver, and of course the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, for their support of the Warrington Precinct project,” Sheriff David Morgan said. “Anytime that a law enforcement presence can be brought to a community it lends stability and security to an area. Just like our Neighborhood Watch Programs, this project is another example of the citizens of Escambia County engaging with their elected officials in making our community a family and business friendly environment.”

The building will be known as the “W.E. Grimsley Building” in honor of Elmer Grimsley who deeded the property adjacent to Warrington middle school for community use.

The public and the media are welcome to attend. Please contact ECSO Public Affairs Coordinator Sena Maddison at 436-9277 for further assistance or information.
