After years of planning, dreaming, and a year of intensive fundraising, the Downtown Pensacola YMCA will finally break ground on their new, state-of-the-art facility on Thursday. Members of the YMCA Board of Directors will be joined by representatives from the Levin, Bear, and Studer families to break ground on the new facility. The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 13 at the future site of the Downtown YMCA, at the corner of Tarragona and Intendencia Streets in downtown Pensacola.
Members of the media and the public are invited.
