The return of the popular Nations Baseball Ultimate World Series will begin this Wednesday morning, July 17, with coach and team meetings at Pensacola Beach, followed by Opening Ceremonies at 4 p.m. at the Gulfside Pavilion. The 2012 Ultimate World Series brought 1,400 visitors and generated over $1 million dollars in direct economic impact to the area, making if one of the largest youth sporting events of the year. This year promises to be even larger, with 85+ teams, including several from San Antonio and Houston, Texas. Other states represented include Oklahoma, Ohio, Indiana, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida.
Games begin with Pool Play on Thursday morning at Santarosa Sportsplex, followed by Bracket Play on Friday and Saturday with championship games scheduled for Sunday, July 21. This is a Nations Baseball World Series, hosted by All-star Productions, which also brought the Nations Baseball Elite Series to the area last month
