Gulf Power releases estimates on power restoration

As promised, Gulf Power released its restoration timetable for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The map provided is rather board,  dividing Escambia County into just three zones: Century, North of Kingsfield Road and South of Kingsfield.

Those living below Kingsfield – which includes Nine Mile Road, Beulah, Pensacola, Warrington, Myrtle Grove, Brownsville, Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach – may have to wait until Tuesday to have power restored.

As of 5 a.m., Gulf Power’s outage map shows only 1,590 Santa Rosa County customers remain without power. Escambia County has 45,180 customer waiting for their power to be restored – about half of Saturday morning total.
