Gunther gets liquor license

Fred Gunther and Gunther Properties got the only quota liquor license issued by the Florida’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco for Santa Rosa County. It was done through a lottery that saw the department issue 68 new quota liquor licenses in 32 counties. Santa Rosa County only received one such license.

Escambia County also got one and it was won by Edward Culpepper.

The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco issues each county a new quota liquor license every time its population increases by 7,500.
