Councilman Ronald Townsend also got $750 from Halcorp and its officers during this last campaign reporting period. Interestingly, fellow Councilman Marty Donovan gave him $150.
Townsend reports that he spent $328.72 on food and drink, $100 to himself for gas, $40 to his son for working on the campaign and $350 for other poll workers on Nov. 4.
Townsend’s opponent in the run-off, Jacci Shumaker, put $400 of her own money into her campaign.
