Get your family and friends together for some Halloween FUN to support Special Olympics athletes! The Halloween Spooktacular Bowl-A-Thon will take place on Sunday, October 21st at 3 p.m. at Liberty Lanes bowling alley in Pensacola. Enjoy two hours of fun-filled bowling with music, food and drinks, plus a Halloween costume contest! Individuals are welcome or teams can be any size and made up of family, friends, or co-workers. Each bowler raises at least $25 in sponsorships to participate in the event. Grand prizes awarded to top fundraising individual and team and for costume contest winner. Make your Halloween “Spooktacular†with great prizes from the Halloween Spirit store, Red Lobster, Sam’s Fun City, Mike’s Outdoor Sports, Marsha’s Menagerie, Painting with a Twist, SportClips, a grand prize from Liberty Lanes and much more!
Come meet and greet our Special Olympics Bowling team, who is raising money to  purchase uniforms and attend the State Fall Classic on November 16th-17th. Athletes from Special Olympics Escambia/Santa Rosa will travel to Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando to compete in Bowling, Power lifting and Gymnastics.

Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at no cost to the athlete or their caregiver, as a means to achieve physical fitness, self-esteem, socialization skills, and the life skills necessary to be a productive, respected and contributing members of their communities.
