Hawthorne did release a strategic plan

George Hawthorne did release to the media a 2012-2015 Strategic Plan for the Gulf Coast African-American Chamber. Though he doesn’t say who his board of directors is, Hawthorne states in his message section of the plan: “On behalf of the GCAACC’s Board of Directors, I am pleased to present the Gulf Coast African American Chamber of Commerce Strategic Plan 2012-2015. Under the leadership of the board, this document will be used to help steer the directions and energies of the GCAACC for the next three years.”

He asserts that “all stakeholders had an opportunity to participate in this initial process as we sought input and ownership.” The document is 36 pages and talks considerable about a strategic partnership with the GCAAC and the Greater Pensacola Chamber.
