The Pensacola City Council will be asked Thursday to approve David Penzone as the city’s representative on Escambia County’s RESTORE advisory committee. City Administrator Bill Reynolds informed council of Mayor Ashton Hayward’s choice during this afternoon’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
Escambia County Commission has allotted one seat for the city on its nine-member RESTORE advisory committee. The representative is chosen by mayor and must be approved by the city council.
Reynolds said the city is assessing potential RESTORE requests and encouraged council members to forward suggestions.
“Any ideas are welcome, please,” he told them.
