HBA of Northwest Florida holding job fair of students tomorrow

The Home Builders’ Association of Northwest Florida is sponsoring a Skilled Trades Career Fair at Pensacola High School.

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 1, from 11 a.m-2 p.m., in Pensacola High School’s cafeteria. Pensacola High School is located at 500 W. Maxwell St.

This event is open only to Escambia County students and this year’s graduates who are at least 18 years of age.

The event will feature more than 20 employers, who are ready to hire entry-level employees in areas like:

HVAC
Plumbing
Carpentry
Electrical
Framing/Drywall
and more….

No previous experience is necessary.

“These employers will train motivated individuals to be helpers/laborers in these lucrative careers,” said ECSD Director of Workforce Education Steven Harrell. “This could be the beginning of a young person’s pathway to a successful career in the construction-skilled trades.”

Pensacola High School is located at 500 W. Maxwell St. in Pensacola.
