Health Fair Open to the Public June 15

 More than 30 percent of Realtors go without health insurance.  According to 2009 data, nearly 17 percent of the American population lacks health insurance.  With this in mind, the Realtor Outreach Committee (ROC) of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR) will offer a free Health Fair on Friday, June 15 at ECAR.

Practitioners from across the Emerald Coast are donating their time to help the public.  Waterside Chiropractic will offer free alignments.  Gulf Coast Dermatology will offer free skin cancer screenings.  The Northwest Florida Blood Services blood mobile will be on hand for a blood drive.  Free cholesterol screenings, free blood pressure checks, and much more will be available.   Vendors from across the health spectrum – from holistic health to weight management to cardiology – will be on hand to answer questions.  Attend the Health Fair and walk away with real life tips and tricks to live a healthier life.

Between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m lunch will be available – hamburger, chips, and drink for a $5.00 donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Walkers will head to Washington DC later this year to participate in the 3 Day Walk for the Cure.

The Health Fair is a community event.  All are welcome to attend.  The Health Fair will be Friday, June 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at ECAR.  ECAR is located at 10 Hollywood Blvd SE, Fort Walton Beach.
