Press Release: State Rep. Dennis Baxley, father of the “Stand Your Ground Law” and Speaker Pro Tem under Marco Rubio, has endorsed conservative Republican Mike Hill for state Representative in the District 2 Special Election.
“Mike Hill has the core convictions needed to meet the moral imperative we have to protect faith, family, freedom, and opportunity for the next generation,” said Rep. Baxley. “We need him in the Florida House.”

Mike Hill is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served 10-years on active duty in the Air Force. Mike is not a politician, having spent the past 20-years in the private sector with State Farm. Mike is a proud husband and father of 3 children, President of the Northwest Florida Tea Party, serves on numerous community boards and is a member of NFIB’s Executive Council.
